Kallen Mikel is a a Sedona, AZ based freelance visual artist and a mother. She was born in Reno, NV and raised in Lake Tahoe and Phoenix Arizona.

Having spent a lot of time in the woods as a kid, she is very inspired by her connection with nature. Her work reflects the connection between humans and the natural world that we have become so disconnected with. It also represents the healing of deep emotional wounds through meditation and self reflection. She has been artistic her entire life and feels most exuberant when she is creating. She aims to create visuals that enhance healing and vitality.

Current mediums include gouache, illustration markers, ink, and dry pastel.  

Kallen studied art at Arizona State University and recieved a bachelors in nutrition science there.
